I have just seen a hedgehog!

After running downstairs with excitement I opened the back doors and tried to find it, it took a few minutes to find it.

When I finally found it I guess I must have scared it.. it was rolled up in a ball and had crapped itself!

:(

I used to play sonic the hedgehog as a child:confused: a lot:confused:

on the master system and mega drive:confused:

i was quite good at it:confused:

We have hedgehogs, feed it every night. If you go outside around 8PM you can almost always hear it munching. :)

The cutest thing is in late spring when you see Mum take her hoglets out to learn to find food, they all follow behind in a line!
Awwwwwwww.

If you want to help hedgehogs out feed them kitten food, the meaty stuff not the fishy stuff.

If you have a pond make sure it has a plank or something in it so hedgehogs can get out if they fall in. They are excellent swimmers but need something to help them climb out if they fall in.

Finally as whitecrook said NEVER give them milk, it can indirectly kill them. :(

Had a couple that used to live at the bottom of our garden when I was little. Awesome little things.

We normally have a few in the garden (they confuse the dog almost as much as frogs:p), but I haven't seen one out there for about a year :(

They're funny little things :)

We used to have one living in the garden.

I tried to take a picture of it but it would just curl up and look like a ball of spikes whenever my dad picked it up :(

Used to be a very tame one around my old house, would have to step over it to get in the front door sometimes at night. It didn't seem at all phased by either me or my very curious dog, they are great for the garden and eat slugs which I positively hate so they are all good by me, they make one hell of a noise when they're mating, but who can blame them! :D
