11 Apps £31 - MacUpdate Promo!

With regard to 1password in this bundle, anyone know if you can select whether you chose the Windows license or OS X license?

I have 1password for OS X, but need it for Windows.

Ta.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been looking to buy Parallels for some time now and the other 10 apps is not bad either.

Lads,
where there not supposed to be license keys etc included with this bundle for the likes of Parallels etc. ?
Only one email for 1Password with a key arrived, and can't seem to find any included info in the download for anything else ??

You should get a seperate email from MacUpdates with all your passwords too - its all in your account section on the website too though...

Thanks for reply mate......nope, had already checked in there but all that's showing is a MacUpdate Membership w/Desktop (think that may be the other shoe dropping !).

Its should list each program and when you click on one you get the 'receipt' and details of the serial numbers - deffo drop them an email...

Pretty sure you are not allowed to run the same license concurrently on two machines - virtual or not.

Either or I'm afraid.

Parallels justs enables you to boot your existing Windows 7 boot camp partition without having to reboot, so it's allowed. Though the MAC address needs to be set properly or it'll keep deactivating between each.

And how does one do that? If one forces a MAC address in real Windows does it physically change the card, then OSX will see the new MAC and you have a vicious circle as if OSX uses the new one Parallels with make up a new virtual one.

Your physical adapter will not show up inside Parallels, and the virtual adapter Parallels creates will not be visible in Boot Camp. OS X will be unaffected in both instances.

Sorry. being thick here :( So how do you solve the it and stop Windows requiring activation each time you switch from Bootcamp to Parallels and back?

Are you saying setting the physical card's MAC address inside Bootcamp with not change the MAC address in OSX (i.e. it's only in the OS and doesn't rewrite some EEPROM on the network card) So to stop activation requests all the time you you set the MAC code to the one that Parallels assigns it virtually when running in the Bootcamp mode?

Wish I had a Mac lol still tempted to pick up a MBA but then I already have a laptop and now never use it due to my iPad and iPhone :/
