I find all the poster's like NYC, blurred yellow taxi's, etc are so cliched and pase, Only merit they have is tacky design that's been bestowned upon the.

Yeah agreed. Late in the 90s posters suddenly got cheaper and more available. All of a sudden people's homes and student rooms were being filled with artsy photos and paintings.

But the same ones, or very similar such that shot with the same focus etc. It's boring after a while more often than not it doesn't even carry a personal touch.

It's weird I haven't had a need to put anything up on my walls for a few years now.

I find the space ones are good because they're one of the few things that are ultra-high res and can be printed largely with no loss of detail. There's probably things like gigapan too but I couldn't find the things I really wanted printed big.

I came across these the other day via Stumbleupon.

I think if you have any interest in Science, Astronomy or Space Flight these are just up your street and would grace any wall

Wow, this one is INCREDIBLE!

In February 1984, Mission Specialist Bruce McCandless II went further away from the confines and safety of his ship than any previous astronaut had ever been. This space first was made possible by the Manned Manuevering Unit or MMU, a nitrogen jet propelled backpack. After a series of test maneuvers inside and above Challenger’s payload bay, McCandless went “free-flying” to a distance of 320 feet away from the Orbiter. This stunning orbital panorama view shows McCandless out there amongst the black and blue of Earth and space.
