Its a window cleaning company.

Want your windows cleaned for free?
Just recommend us to a friend and get them to mention your name.

Want your windows cleaned for free?
Just recommend us to a friend, get them to mention your name, and Blue swan cleaning will be round.

Any ideas, any better offers I could have?

I would say the first one except say "ask them" instead of "get them".

I assume this is only for customer who already pay for your services?

Then force a friend by gun point to whisper our name in terror down the phone through a powerful emotion of fear and tears or Give us a reason to clean your windows, with their blood.

I'm sure that'll get you some custom.

£50 please.

i think this sounds better.

"How can you get your windows cleaned for free?
Simply recommend us to a friend!"

never ask yes or no questions as it stops the conversation dead but instead ask a question that needs a good involving reply.

also it's pretty obvious now how recommendations work. you shouldn't need to waste valuable space telling them that the fiend has to say their name, and any way if they don't say their name after the recommendation it's win win for you.

edit:where do you cover? as a fellow window cleaner i wouldn't want to be giving away free cleans to customers when they only get you one clean. we say 3 cleans then they get theirs done for free, though i'd avoid this on the front eye catching parts ;)

The open questions bit doesn't really apply here...

Want your windows cleaned for free?

No

Fine, pay then

Ive come up with this :

Existing customer?

Want your windows cleaned for free?

Just/Simply recommend us to a friend and ask them to mention your name.

Better?

"One free clean when you recommend a friend"

Short and sweet. Especially important if it's going on a business card! Also you need to tell them how much free cleaning you're going to do in return for the referral.
