Why don't you play with her for half an hour then?
If you don't interact with her on that level she'll only get worse.

Get a toy, play tug or even give her a brush, any interaction will help her mood!

Do you have any dog training classes near you?

They often have a 'meet and greet' section for about 20 minutes, the handlers will guide you on what to do to tell him off if he's being hostile

We've taken a few of our sheep dogs there, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks :)

This is good advice.

Dogs are highly intelligent animals, but they are like us in that lack of mental stimulation makes them lethargic and dull!

Looks devious! But i agree with vertica, buy some toys and wrestle the **** out of that dog!

You've a dog there that requires a lot of stimulation, both physical and mental.

Despite how the dog is with others, you need to take her out, ideally for runs or attach her to your bike. Get her a dog vest you can put weights in and it will help tire her out.

When she is tired is the best way to introduce her to other dogs, she's less likely to snap. Don't be afraid to get involved yourself, even if you have to put your hands on her and pin her to the floor and let the other dogs sniff her etc.

You get 2 types of dog classes, behavioural/obedience ones, such as sit, wait walk etc. Then you get the psychology ones that treat the issues behind the bad behaviour.

We have taken her to dog training class's, she comes when you call her name, she will fetch, stay, lie down, not pull on the lead, she is perfect in every way, but the trainer say that its too late to change her attitude towards most dogs, becuase when she was little she didn't socialise with other dogs she didn't learn how to communicate with them.

Sad realy to be honest, but I wouldn't change her for anything else. :)

I do this all the time mate, every day, i come home at lunch and take her for a good 40min walk also....we go down to the river side and she would run along side me. its just every time we see another dog. i have to put her on a lead and get off incase she pulls me off lol

Our Toby is a puppy german spitz type dog. He is still learning and can get jumpy around other peoples dogs and gets very excited to run over to them.
Yet that doesnt stop us? We have a treat box which he runs over every time he hears us rattle it. We also travel far and wide to ensure he gets enough exercise.
We go to open fields or quiet areas so he can run free and not be distracted by other dogs.
In the week we walk him around the area on a seven metre lead so he can wonder and sniff, but we have control over how far he can go?
Because of this hes getting used to other dogs and calming down.
I think this is a very silly thread. I almost want to say, why get a dog you cant look after?
