117m Euromillions

Ohh how we like to fantasize :D

I think I would go down the route of playing it down big time, say I just won a decent jackpot to everything but my mum dad and brother... rest of my family dont speak to us so I dont see why they become instant charity.

Sort out the parents out, brother and wife nicely with house and retirement/start up business so they dont have to work to hard and can make plenty of money from the money i would give.

Then I probably wouldnt go splashing out on houses I think I would invest say half of it with the professionals then buy a boat between 5-10 million and spend a good 5-10 years travelling the world (on a pirate proof boat :D with some armed guards!!) and see every imagineable place this planet has to offer and then at the end of all that sit down and rethink what I want to do...

I certainly would want my money to make more money (as they say money makes money , its coming into the money thats a problem at first!) , maybe buy a business, invest into start up technologies who knows the possibilities are endless!!

Just the ticket at only £8,200,000, maybe another £1mil a year to keep running and docking fees etc... Now just have to buy that winning ticket :D

I would finish my apprenticeship (About a month or so left to go :p) - then I would probably leave and start a few web businesses so I could work while I travel. Then I'd just travel around the world :D

There are lots of stories of lottery wins ruining peoples' lives because everyone they know was constantly asking for handouts.

To be honest, if I knew someone that won the lottery, I don't think I'd ever bring myself to ask them for any. Unless there was a setup like in the Simpsons where you come and pitch your ideas to Homer. I'd pitch the idea of a full scale, habitable, bouncy castle.

Haha I think it stems from the fact that I would love to travel all over the world and the fact that boats are just damn cool! Though I would prefer one that could store speed boats and cars but I would rather keep an eye on my finances rather than spending 50mil on a boat :D

Nice fellow you are:)

:D I was in a good mood yesterday, although I think it's something anyone who gives money away to friends and family would soon find out about. Unless you're lucky enough to have everyone close to you who doesn't want to relocate whatsoever. I suppose with that much money you can visit them 1 by 1 in your spare time which just happens to be everyday but nothing like having them all there for your convenience when needed.

I think I'd turn up to work on Monday in a rolls royce phantom just for the lulz. Get my boss a supercharged range rover as he only has the V6 diesel at the moment.

I would love to park a phantom infront of this house in the ghetto :)

One thing I would most certainly do if I won would be to give away 1 million each to 5 random strangers.

Generally, the problem I have with even the idea of winning that much money is not deserving it, I would like to do something that gives me at least some right to that sort of wealth. What that would be I have no idea.

Do you

It would not bother me one bit if people thought i didnt deserve it lol, what about people born into wealth do they deserve that.

After much deliberation I've decided my first port of call would be to give away a million to one person on these very forums.

Completely at random, or to the first person that makes me laugh, much in the same way we often give away copies of Portal or Half Life. :p

The thing is, for the most part, something HAS been done to deserve it, people aren't wealthy by default, be it there parents or grandparents, something somewhere down the line was done to establish that wealth.

Also it's not what others think, it's what I think.

I would buy a sensible, but nice house in New Zealand, NY, London, Monaco area & some mega nice quite Carribean island.

Then just travel the world avoiding the winter.

I'd like to think I would be sensible after winning that amount of money, but to be honest I would probably end up doing a Mike Carroll

Get homes in some warm places, a large boat to sail around the med, a few fast cars, give some to the family. Leave enough to live on and then give a bit away.

I would give quite a lot away tbh. Spread the wealth and all that! Plenty of new cars would be bought for people.

Saying that doesn't improve your chances! lol :D

if I won? I'd like to compound it even more - setup some good businesses and compete with the big boys and wipe them out, would keep you entertained.

Im 23 and if I won £117M I seriously doubt I would see my 25th birthday. :D

It would be the best year and a half anyone in the history of everything, anything left over can go to family etc...

Lol. I actually would though! :D

Id buy half a dozen of the dual xeons overclockers have and offer them up to the forum in some way.
