Probably but get some fun out of it, then look round for upgrades in 6 months once the first buzz wears off :)
 
Really I wouldn't bother upgrading it for more power as you'll never get close to it's limits on the road and the traffic light GP and dyno run is not the home of the 911. Get it into europe and into the mountains, THAT is what 911's are about, it'll all make sense then.

Results are in:-

DME Scan is a clean pass, nothing in ranges 4 or above which makes it covered by OPC warranty with no questions.

Work required for warranty is aircon rads as they are showing signs of wear but they rated them amber.

They also requested 4 coils to be changed, but upon reviewing service history it was spotted 5 were changed at 24,000 miles at which point they said in which case they are fine.

I spoke to Porsche directly afterwards, well the guy who did the inspection and simply said its not my car I am buying it and basically just want peace of mind. At this point the guy literally just said get it bought as its a superbly clean car. :)

The car passed its MOT no issues.

So as long as my CHAPS is cleared by 3pm tomorrow, I shall be collecting it either tomorrow or Thursday evening. :)


Anyone want a good deal on an EVO X with lots of goodies or with all the goodies removed for a very good price?

Really glad that worked out, now wasnt that worth a couple quid for peace of mind?
 
Glad it's all passed with flying colours - bet you can't wait to pick it up :)

Aircon rads in Porsches should be classed as consumables and listed in the service manual as replaced with spark plugs!
 
:D Got it! :D

Too early to really say anything, but it cruises well and does not seem to use much fuel on a cruise. :)
