The Russian ones tend to just push BS ...

Russian news recently reported that supermarkets in the UK had started auctioning off expired food as apparently many people in this country were too poor now to buy food.

During the winter they reported that we were all frozen, dying due to snow. And that we had run out of heating gas.

That is not bias, that is just state sponsored propaganda.

lol and the bbc and sky in this country tell us that iran is a terrorist country

IMO we should save this money for when/if we are invaded or spend it on military technology. That or help Japan
Help an country with an economy almost 4 times ours?

They don't need hand outs. They need yen-pricing stabilisation (which the G7 are doing), things like food/blankets/water (Australasian/asian countries are providing), patience and time.

Do you REALLY want me to go and ask my relatives exactly which channel reported it?

My guess would be either C1 or either Russia 1 (formerly RTR as I knew it) or Russia 24 (formerly Vesti as I knew it again)

Forget if this is right or wrong.. I am questioning how we are able to have any part in this. Aren't our forces already quite stretched?!

Makes me wonder what exactly do we have left to offer? Do we have anything left to protect our country (if need be).

Defence cuts! Cameron?? You can't go up their on the mic and be one of the world's enforcers when you are cutting a huge amount of money from our armed forces.

A US F15E crashed into a field in Libya, pilot and weapons officer ejected, both landed in different fields, some people came up to them and showed much love for the efforts to get shot of Gaddafi.

Pickup for pilot sorted out, Osprey lands and has apparently shot at and hurt civilians, 6 to be exact.

If you have any sources for that other than the channel 4 one please link, as it has been contradicted in other news sites and I don't believe it.

However -

"The officer adds that he does not know if any Libyan civilians were injured when the bombs were dropped, as is being reported in the press."

The press reported gunshot wounds... which the telegraph conflicts stories in their article in which they interview a man afterwords who says it only destroyed his driveway.

Video of a guy who helped the pilot
(not the said article)

Well no not really. They had their dictator toppled, we got security and oil.

Of course its a bit sad but i don't know them. Same with the japs i simply don't really care.

We have security because of Iraq????? So I guess 7/7 didn't happen or the Glasgow airport bomb or etc etc.

Iraq opened a can of worms that is still to be played out.

Apart from the country now being split in three with the Kurds in the north wanting a greater Kurdistan(part of Turkey and one of the 'stans of the old Russia). That looks like a peaceful future there.

The Iraqi around Basra are the same religion as Iran so maybe, only maybe they will join a greater Iran.

The rest, Saddam's tribe now have land but little to no oil after being in the driving seat. Resentment there.

Sounds like a recipe for stable relations and security in the area.
