Can anyone recommend me a 'good' place for four wheel alignment place in the West Midlands?

Well I'm at a loss really, hence me asking this question, I know of one place with a hunter machine that I used for my 540i but I was not satisfied with them at all, so does anyone know of a place that will actually do a proper and careful four wheel alignment in the West Midlands area?

I'm willing to go as far south as Cheltenham and Gloucester if need be and I don't mind heading as far North as Stafford either, although I prefer South West of Birmingham if possible as that's easier to access for me but I'm more interested in getting a proper job done than anything.

I used a place in Halesowen once called Chemix autocentres or something like that (they have a hunter anyway), they did it three times for me, twice to try and correct the first attempt and they never did get the steering wheel of my E39 on straight relative the the direction of travel, I think the suspension setup was ok but the wheel not being straight really bugged me and they had nothing to brace it or hold it in place with :o ... anyway I'm not going there again because I expect they will screw it up and a slightly off centre steering wheel is not acceptable to me, it has to be done correctly.

Sorry about the weird title, I typed place twice as I got interrupted when composing it :p

May be too far for you but Protyre in brizzle are my preferred choice. They have some very nice kit and the guys really seem to know what they're doing. There is a lovely fleet of pro drift cars to drool over in the showroom too :D

Thanks, I'm inclinced to check out A-Line then. Thanks for all your input so far, I did not know about any of those places and Google wasn't very helpful.

I need this on my RS4 and though I would recommend Centre of mavity for bespoke I just want my RS4 to point in the right direction after a winter of pot holes and 'The Crater'. Anyone know anyone good near Lichfield?

Hey guys,

Seems like A-line is the place to go! haha...

Does anybody know how adjustable the MkIII Mondeo (Titanium X, 2006) is? I don't want to get it aligned if only the toe-in/out can be adjusted! I know my rear is out, the tyres are worn on the outside :(

If you choose a decent place you should only get charged for what work needs doing.

It shouldn't be a flat fee, so the lack of any adjustability should be reflected in the price they charge you.

I'm guessing he's worried he's going to pay £120 for a "full geometry check" only for them only to be able to do a bit of basic tracking.
