Anyone else think the narrator on Coach Trip is an absolute balloon. Because of the narrator on "Come dine with me." has proven popular because of his witty humour, it looks as though they've tried to re-create it and it's just failed miserably.

He comes away with some of the unfunniest (if that's a word) quips, it's bordering on cringe worthy, not to mention the fact he sounds like a 10 year old on helium.

Anyone in the same mind frame? Or is it just me

Why cant we all just get along?! :( *weeps*

Haha. I think Coach trip is like Big brother for people with an I.Q above 12. It's a group of people stuck together for a set period of time, but rather than being stuck in a stupidly designed house listening to a human speaking clock watching caged animals argue... you get to see different cultures, see some nice places and learn a bit all at the same time.

I'm not one for reality tv, but this is an exception.

The TVs at my work usually have it on, but since the TVs are muted I had no idea it was him doing the narration. I find it mildly amusing at times, but not something I would seek to watch outside of work.

Is the "Comedy" part of his name supposed to be an attempt at sarcasm?
I don't think you can direct the criticism at the Narrator - they're only reading a script.

Just like everyone thinks Dave Lamb from Come Dine With Me is brilliant - he's not, he's reading a script:

How much input do you have over what you say?

They go away and film it, they cut, write the script and at the very last minute I read the script to the pictures. I'm allowed to improvise and add a few touches.
