*** I LOVE ENGLAND/UK - MY HOMELAND! ***

I spent most of my youth growing up on an RAF base in Cyprus now there's a place to live. It does remind you of what was great about Britain though, minor things though if I'm honest and with the invention of the internet you can get most of it shipped over anyway.

Erm, have you been to Los Angeles before? I'd hate to ruin your dreams, but ****hole are the exact words I'd describe it with...

He's well aware of that - but the areas surrounding LA are fantastic. LA is simply a place to land and collect a hire car.

and I'm just rubbing it in as I'm feeling a little mischievous :D:D:D

Stang from LAX then get the hell out of there on the first leg to Laguna Beach/San Diego.

Really won't want to come back, Fox, I think we both know how that felt around October time :(;)

Would love some of the people here posting to be alive in WW2

"lets just let the Germans win, they are strong, more powerful, have taken over most of mainland Europe, bombing us to death, blowing up our friends house, lets just leave"

No?

I love England and a good percentage of its people... but the only way you'll get me back there is by sorting out its problems.

Overpriced everything, but especially housing.
Immigration has gone to the dogs.
CHAVS just about everywhere.
Grim weather and beaches.

The people who fought in WWII were fighting for our freedom, not only freedom to live, but our freedom to choose.

Ironic that you choose to berate people for exercising the rights that the soldiers in WWII were fighting for them to have.

This, 10 min drive away and you are in a rough council area where crime and ASBO are high.

Whats wrong with having the national flag in your room? I would be worse if it was a Georges Cross with ENGERLAND emblazoned across it hanging out of his window.

Cheers me up when ever I see it, and kick starts my day when I wake up to it.

I thought it was obvious that I was talking about this part?

I think having a large flag of your own country on your wall (regardless of where you're from) is lame, but the second part is beyond lame.
