This annoys me too. I've got two XJ13s which I can't sell or trade now they've put the value limit on trading (Which shouldn't count for cars you can't sell surely?)
For sure it's annoying, I really need a Vertigo and it's just not showing in used, but as it's over 1m I can't trade for it. Not to mention I'm often willing to give out cars to help new players get going online.
But you have to remember why they've done this. Cheaters. I can't believe they've found another moneys glitch now as soon as one is patched.
They need to start thinking about cheat detection mechanisms, check if people are completing laps in impossible times (like SSR7 in a second) and their should be reality checks on the rate at which people earn EXP and $$, the max you can earn as far as I can tell is 97.5k in 5 minutes on A-Spec, 15 minutes B-Spec and probably a lot less online.
They need to put some effort into after-care, all we get now is an occasional patch weeks after a glitch is glaringly obvious and known about by everyone and his auntie's neighbour's dog's pet woodlouse. More seasonals too please, how hard can it be? Well you're at it, fix the CLK-LM/CLK-GT, it can't be both and it's missing a whole litre. Then you can actually put some effort into the models for some of the most revered cars of all time.

I would like to thank all the people who have been remote racing my toons, I have taken off my drives off Remote racing as a lot of people have been using them, at this rate I will never I find the time to repay back the favour.

Yep, added a bunch of folk on Friday night. So far only 3 or 4 of my pals seem to be using the widget so my running it almost 24/7 is only benefitting them and not me
(Doohickey and nickrapier are my top fellas over this weekend)
Gonna do a friends list sweep for none widget users I'm afraid as I ran mine all week last week pretty much 24/7 and will be doing so again this coming week (in fact it's already running now).
Please use the widget guys, if you're not, no offense but I'm gonna have to kick it to the kerb

The B spec online mode does seem very sensitive to network problems - even the non widget manual mode. Mine wouldn't work until I hard-wired my PS3 in
got the same problem here about 5 or so arnt showing up on the gt website some were added over a week ago.
sorted the problem with players not shoing in your list on the GT5 website, log out and log back in, for some reason it updates everything else just not the player list.
One thing ive found with the site is, it tends to show a lot of players drivers as not available - yet if i go on the ps3 and manualy do a race the drivers are free, most likely the ps3 updating the list gets priority - or my ps3 is just slow at responding back - ive started getting loads of errors on remote races when running them on the pc.
Ive been ignoring them incase they stop the races,

Took a break from grinding yesterday to do the B-spec Indy 500- my god it was tedious enough waiting for that to finish (obv didn't watch the whole thing), can't imagine having to do that on A-spec. Only wanted the GT40 prize car. I'm surprised they haven't increased the prize money or EXP or even the prize cars for the endurance events significantly in the updates, it really seems hardly worth doing.
Now trying to collect some of the more obscure (but decent looking cars), just bought a Oullim Motors car, or something like that, and a Callaway american thing that looks as long as a bus

Indy 500 is the only endurance race that I've actually bothered with in A-spec. I've done all of them in B-spec. I wanted the XJ13 so that I could get he Dream Car Trophy. It's only 2 hours in the X2010 and with PIP I just watched TV while having to moving my thumb slightly to the left every corner.
