Need of assistance.

I washed the car the other day, while rinsing I noticed little black marks on the side skirt, and in the wheel arch. Noticed they wouldn't come off, they are small in size and of rubbery texture, once removed they leave a little brown stain which is quite annoying to get rid of.

I'm guessing it's tarmac as I remember driving over some freshly laid a week back. How can I get rid of these?

If you use a dedicated remover you can spray it on the spots and let it do its thing, thus removing the need to rub a cloth on your paint and the risk of scratching your paint.

If you are not that fussed, or are not into car detailing then use any of the options provided to you.

Used to use that "Mer" stuff sold at the ***** Sunday markets, but being as I've not cleaned the shed I own now for getting on 5 years, I have no idea if it's still available :D

Used the Autoglym tar removal, did the job. Took a lot of elbow grease but looks a lot better without the little black dots.
