***Official Shogun Total War 2 Thread***

For those worried about having slow CPUs with the game I have the following:

E6300 @ 3.15ghz
4gb DDR2 @ 900mhz
GTX470 @ 775/1700

And I'm getting over 50fps in even large battles. Sea battles are a little slower hovering around 40-50 so it doesn't like the game is CPU limited much. That's with everything on Ultra but SSAO and DoF turned off.

For what it's worth I have a weak CPU (Core2Duo 6600) and a good GPU (HD5850). I'm running the game very nicely at 1280x1024 (I know that's a low resolution by today's standards) and I only experience noticeable frame rate drops when speeding up large scale sieges. The game runs smoother for me than both Empire and Napoleon Total War. I should add that most settings are on Ultra.

Great! I'll buy the game this weekend! :)
So long wifey, cya next year!!

How do you think it will run on my rig turning up tommorow:

2x 6950 in CF
4gb ram
2500k @ 4.4ghz

:D

I'd just send it back. You'll get a fatal bottleneck at your e-peen.

Back on topic, it's frustrating that even friendly clan with available ports won't trade with me :(

With realm divide the whole alliance/vassal/diplomacy thing seems rather pointless.

Use the mod I posted earlier in your next campaign as it tones it down.

Check the diplomacy tab, are the resources you export imported by that clan? If not, then that's why.

Finally got this to start working again after formating :).

So I just started a new campaing again as the Chosokabe on medium. I am new to Total War games, coming from a hard core 2005-2011 FPS session :).

This is my situation so far, don't laugh :D
