Maybe so, but he replied in the negative to my post which wasn't specific to Libya.
 
France's Defence Minister Gerard Longuet has said the military intervention makes no sense if it is not paired with political intervention. "The military intervention is there because we have a political project. It is to discuss and build a different future for the Libyan people," he said.

I don't disagree with you, my problem is the reason we are given is not the reason why the action was taken.

II agree in that the UN, Arab League, Africa Nations should go in to areas of genocide more rapidly. Ethiopia is another country were Muslims are fighting one another and cleansing is taking place. So why has no super power go in there to stop it ! !

theyre doing it already to iran. im a bit suprised tbh because i didnt know people could be so stupid and fall for the same trap twice
 
The more I think about it the more dodgy it is really, what are we actually doing there?

I think we actually are there to help the rebels, which is worse than if we were there for oil because it's pointless.
