Considering all the doom and gloom reported I've not had a single issue with my Superhub, though I use it wired.

Though someone has worked out how to put the Superbug in bridge mode if anyone is interested.

Is this 100mb connection on a different network than the 50mb?

What Im trying to ask is - if I upgrade to 100mb, could it fix my ping problems or are all the connections on the same network?

Im 90% sure my ping problems are only worse at peak times because everyone and their uncle are on skype/youtube/streaming something at the network here cant handle it.

30-100Mb are all on the same DOCSIS 3.0 network.

Are you sure 30Mb is? I thought it was just the 50mb. Well that is what we were told when we had 50Mb installed when it just came out.

Is there anyone on the VM 50meg service who has got the Superhub and noticed a drop in upload speed??
On my original 50meg modem i was getting roughly 4.7meg but since i have fitted the Superhub it is only 2.4meg at best.

I'm on the 30Mb, it's defo the DOCSIS 3.0 network.

a week ago it was due to arrive in Dudley in March 11 but a week away in the sun i come back to find it is now being planned!!!

having 100mb installed today, currently on 50 and never had any issues in sunny swansea. Will see how this goes, really hope I dont have any issues with the "superhub" as the 50mb modem has been faultless since day one.

haha! i'm by the heckmondwike exchange. too bad i cant afford 100/50mbit BB.
i'm on a crappy 4 megabit (around 500kb/s max) talktalk phoneline connection :/

I thought the swansea exchange wasnt being upgraded until june? are you definitely on the swansea UBR ?

Only found the one speedtest which gets close to 100mb, but when getting my latest linux distro's from newsgroups your getting the full 100mb which is nice!

I really don't need anything faster than 50Mb. I download what I want, go away and boil the kettle and when I come back everything has downloaded lol.

Yeah its totally pointless really, 20 was enough, its funny how they market these speeds, there is no real reason for having this kind of bandwidth. It's going to take several years, until anything close to 100mb is actually needed for any kind of content that would require a 100mb connection

Had mine installed this morning. Hard wired into the superhub I'm getting 85mb/s on speedtest.net but wireless is topping out around 35mb/s

Engineer said there is an expected firmware update coming to sort out drop out problems and would increase the wireless speed, said I should see 80+ wirelessly then..

it's still 25-30 minutes for a feature length 1080p movie to download at maxed out, which makes it just too long to do on a whim! 15 minutes, that's more like it.

Also, going from 1.5 to 10mb upload will be massively helpful for game servers etc. and uploading finished photoshoots
