Black 64Gb. Its all synced and initial impressions are positive. Much quicker all round and animations are smoother.

I've only ever played with iPads in a shop but I am VERY VERY VERY tempted to buy one. Just a WIFI model as I wouldn't use it out and about.

What do you use your iPad for, do you use it for business or just casual browsing while watching tv etc?

So how does it compare to the original iPad, apart from you saying its noticeably quicker, can you tell any other differences? Whats the camera like?

Presumably less than it would using its own screen, that's where most of the power is used.

I use my iPad for all sorts. Web, email, business, notes, watching video, iplayer, music, games, magazines, books. The whole caboodle!

The extra RAM is making it all a much nicer experience. The mail app is much more responsive and that was a gripe of mine on the ipad 1.

I did consider white but my iPhone 4 and iMac are black so I wanted it to fit in.

Not got the HDMI lead. Will be ordering a dock tomorrow.

720p movies from my iTunes play perfectly.

My main reason for updating to the iPad 2 was performance. I am not disappointed as everything is now very snappy and smooth. Multitasking now feels as though it is much more useful. Keyboard is now more responsive.

Infinity blade is stunningly smooth in frame rate and image quality with the AA. It doesn't feel as though it is struggling in the slightest. Just downloading real racing 2 hd.

And yes the cameras are trash.

The screen is more vibrant with increased viewing angles. It's very close to the surface like the iPhone 4.

Nothing so far. It's like a more perfect iPad if that makes sense. I loved the iPad 1 and used it everyday since it's release. The upgrade just made sense to me.

Just waiting for GarageBand and iMovie to install.

Bought it off eBay. £557 delivered. No import duty so far and was delivered by royal mail today. Taken ten days to get here.

Is the screen crisper? Higher resolution than the original?
