Surely something the result of a chemical imbalance should be cured?
against someones will?

Interesting!
It promoted a thought - what if taking a drug would make me straight, would I take it?
I decided that I probably wouldn't, as long as there are plenty of gays to go aroundMaybe. But, we are all just the result of our chemical balance, and effectively 'curing' any part of it just neutralises us, and that could be quite boring!

Can you elaborate?I dont doubt people choose to be gay or straight rather than let nature take its course![]()
Very much so! Quite hypocritical of me. However, I am happy gay and can envisage being happy straight, so I may as well just leave the dice how it has rolled and stick with the way I am now. I'd not be as happy without hair, so it's not too odd that I took something to prevent the losing of it (though I don't take it anymore!)Interesting that you wouldn't take a pill to make you straight, but do take stuff for hair growth![]()
What makes something an imbalance and what makes something just be part of a differential that makes us all individual?
Can you elaborate?

Hmm, potentially, but I'd say that would be the very small minority, except for bisexual people who choose one gender over another. Otherwise, it's hard to imagine.I believe that some people will/can/do choose to be in a same sex relationship rather than opposite sex.

surprise bum sechs would not be welcomed haha
in random other Daily Mail news:
Man says drug turned him gay
Wonder whether the drug dropped his serotonin levels lol
It's a dopamine agonist.
In some way, dopaminergic, cholinergic and serotonergic are all interlinked so it is plausible that a secondary effect was in the serotonergic system.
Don't see why there's any reason to believe such behaviour is related to the serotonergic system, many dopaminergic drugs can cause those effects.
