Just tried the demo of WWE All Stars and really enjoyed it.

It's basically even more over the top action, arcade style with legends and current stars.

Anyone else given it a try?

Just about to download now and try it. Not bought a WWE(F) game for years and I like the over the top look of this (rather than the "realism" of their annual games).

Didn't even know the demo was out so cheers for the heads-up. The demo will have to be really rubbish to stop this being my next PS3 game to buy!

Edit: Great fun, just pre-ordered.

Looks excellent. I hope they improve the roster though.

No Stone Cold? ;_;

The roster of WWE Legends includes:
Andre The Giant
“Macho Man” Randy Savage
Bret “Hit Man” Hart
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat
The Rock
Hulk Hogan
The Ultimate Warrior
Eddie Guerrero
Sgt. Slaughter
Mr. Perfect
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin
Shawn Michaels
Jake “The Snake” Roberts
Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper

The roster of current WWE Superstars includes:
John Cena
Triple H
Rey Mysterio
John Morrison
The Big Show
Kofi Kingston
Sheamus
Randy Orton
The Miz
CM Punk
Drew McIntyre
The Undertaker
Jack Swagger
Kane
Edge

Is this going to be a full disc game, or one of those PSNs downloads?

Also is there a career mode? Infact if there is a good edit mode I can recreate some cliques and stuff anyway and just use my head for the story lines :D

Shame there is no Nash, Hall etc - but at least I can do a Trips and Shawn tag team.

UK pre-orders get Million Dollar Man(legend) and Ted DiBiase Jr (current). It's a full disc based game, loads of modes in the demo (all greyed out apart from single match). There was a create a wrestler mode as well.

One of the modes was tag team, so it would be criminal if they didn't release some DLC packs with tag teams imo. New Age Outlaws & LOD would be good.

It's absolute cack imo. :(

I thought it was going to be like SvR but with All Stars (like that Legends game was) but it's so arcadey and unrealistic. None of the buttons are the same as SvR and the wrestlers look like robots with massive muscles. Quite clunky and too fast paced for my liking.

WHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH.

Straight over your head I think Viper :p

It's not suppose to be like SvR, that's the whole point.

It's over the top, pick up and play, fast paced fun.

Personally have hated all WWE games since Here Comes The Pain, but I will definitely be picking this up.

It's not even pick up and play because the menus take hours to load. :o

I just don't get the point of dramatically changing everything when it worked so well anyway.

Looks like someone threw in some street artist caricatures and called it a day.

Then went back and made them all Mr Universe and slapped the WWE logo on it :o

Didn't really seem to take that long to load for me?

The point is that it's not a sequel to SvR, it's a completely different game with different dynamics. SvR 2012 will still come out this year and will be EXACTLY the same as SvR 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 etc etc etc.

This is something different at last for WWE games!

I normally hate wrestling games, but after having a play with the demo on the PS3 I put it on pre-order. I doubt that I'll be any good at it but it's the only wrestling game to ever grab my attention and it does look good.

Join the club, I had it on easy and it was still a challenge. :D

But crucially still enjoyable and I won. :p

I keep going back to the demo for another blast, which is rare for me, so I reckon I might end up putting in a preorder. I usually only preorder PES, Killzone and Uncharted, so its in hallowed company!
