Tea and coffee

For all you coffee haters out there, start off with a traditional milky coffee.

Fill mug up with whole milk, warm in microwave for 2 minutes and add a small teaspoon of coffee and 1-1.5 teaspoon of sugar, it tastes pretty good for a coffee noob ;)

Lavazza coffee is just mmmmmmmmmmmmm lovely! Local wetherspoons do a cracking cuppa for like well cheap! :D

Your right there! I love their coffee with a nice breakfast bloomer :)

If you drink tea or coffee regularly you tolerance for caffeine will increase. In addition when you are between cup your brain will be craving caffeine and will be operating a reduced level.
Therefore logically it is a lot easier for a non caffeine drinker to "make it through the day", without needing a tea or coffee.

I have to disagree. People enjoy coffee because it tastes good not because they need a caffiene fix, this is another media hype like the dangers of saturates and the low fat movement :p utter rubbish.

If you feel tired in the day, its not because of coffee addiction but more because of blood sugar levels and digestion issues. Start controlling your blood sugars by limiting refined sugars, flour and eat foods with a low glycemic index . . . you will have much more energy and avoid the midday crash :)

Having cut my caffeine intake by about 90%, I can confirm what the poster you quoted was saying. I was chain drinking coffee but I was still tired all the time. I cut my coffee intake right down and I'm now much more alert than I ever was, and I feel a lot better for it.

My sex drive came back as well, which is fun.

At the same time as thinking it's weird that someone might drink no tea/coffee, it works on the flip side aswell. It's weird to be addicted to tea/coffee... :D

I've recently tried to cut down on my tea and coffee intake... Was on around 15 cups tea/coffee a day, never drinking any water.
Managed a week without any caffeine beverages, before going back to tea. Averaging 2 cups of tea a day now since starting this last month. Have had a whopping 2 cups of coffee (decaf though) in this time...

I'm not much of a tea or coffee drinker in general. Doesnt help that the vending machines in my work are pretty nasty. Usually drink water or some form of carbonated soft drink/juice.

I don't actively dislike either, I just don't want them enough to drink them. There's always something else I would choose instead.
