How the hell does someone steal a Fuselage?

I've known of more expensive aircraft parts than that get through security on the back of a lorry. The article says the most expensive part stolen was...

"The most valuable single item to be stolen was a helicopter rotor tuner worth £50,000, which was taken in November."

So I'm guessing they did them a favour stealing an old aircraft fuselage, saves them having to scrap it.

How do you steal a bridge?

Im assuming they mean one of these bad boys!

Unless they are talking like "ships bridge" in which case... what the hell

Other loot included a bridge, a boat rudder, body armour, a water browser, guns, charity cash, computers, televisions, marker lights and a flag.

They really are careless with their stuff.

And they have had this lot stoeln in the UK over the last 10 years:

included ten defence cars, along with seven Land Rovers, 17 motorcycles, 11 quad bikes, two forklifts and a mini-bus. The other two stolen vehicles were not named.

And electronic stuff as follows:

In total the ministries reported the loss of 518 laptops, 131 BlackBerrys or iPhones, 104 mobile devices and 932 electronic storage devices over the past two years, at an estimated cost to the taxpayer of £781,453.

you are talking about hundreds of bases, camps, and storage buildings as well as hundreds of thousands of people involved

most of it will turn up one day, just not in the warehouse it should be

Not really. The electrical report one said that so far the MOD had only recovered £40k of them.

Unlikely they will ever find them again.

oh im sure a lot has actually been stolen

but the logistics chain for the MOD is massive and very very complicated, a lot of that stuff is sat in a warehouse somewhere with the wrong NSN stamped on it!
