As title really. Are there any tricks to solve this? Any lists of things that can be safely removed? I always move apps over to the SD card when I install/update them, but the message won't seem to go away :(

i find its my contacts storage and tweetdeck that destroy my phone memory.

I downloaded accleaner from the market. Clears all cached data at the same time. Helps but I still only have around 20mb left.

Currently on 13.52mb. Apps installed on phone memory:

Adobe Flash 12.05mb
Maps 9.7mb
Facebook 9.42mb
Gmail 4.62
Tweetdeck 8.11mb
Voice Search 4.42mb
MyFitnessPal 5.25mb
Spotify 3.73mb
Winamp 3.02mb
Market 3.01mb
TuneInRadio 2.9mb
YouTube 1.3mb

Plus a few others that add up to a few mb. I wish we could move the larger apps to SD card. I know can flash the phone but I have no idea how to and rather not risk something I have no idea what I am doing and brick the thing.

Are you up for rooting it and installing a custom rom? that way you can move your apps to the SD card freeing up valuable internal memory

Edit: just read Liquid isn't. It's a shame because I had that problem, rooted it and am now enjoying no such problems and a superior rom on Leedroid :)

Well I'd do it if I knew it would work and in simple instructions. Computers I am fine, phones I am not.

edit: and when I mean it would work, I know it works for others, I meant it would defo work for me haha

google unrevoked, android forums and xda developers forums are your friends, loads of newbie guides, we were all newbies once. I'm not trying to persuade you to root but it's been a great option to me when I was in your situation.

Also if your not yet up to a new ROM (I'm on a Desire HD rom on my HTC HD2 :)) then try an app app 2 sd if the app can be moved to your sd card this will do it for you :)

8 or 16 GB micro SD cards og x4 or better speeds will improve the app performance if you need it :)

I have the same problem, gradually uninstalling more and more apps but storage keeps creeping down. Ah well Samsung galaxy s 2 out soon :)

I used this guide:

http://www.miui-au.com/installation/rooting/

I used meathod 1 using the live cd they link to it took me all of ten minutes and was really easy to do.

The next poart in thier guide they start to give instructions for installing miui-au you can follow that part of the guide and substitute any roim you want in place of thiers as the procedure is the same foir all of them. You can also ignore the radio part of it unless you specificaly want to flash your radio.

I also use leedriod and find it the best and I had never flashed a phone before doing mine with thier guide.
