Hi,

Looking for a graphics card for my HP Proliant server.

Only has half height 16 PCI-E socket so i pressume that means i need a
'low profile' in the description.

Must have HDMI socket.

its the one thats on offer, I think the one Timko linked is correct.. specs look the same just no model number on that page.

Will check them out Timko, i have a 9500GT which 'powers itself' in my current pc.
Are those low profile ones the same?

Nice wasnt to sure thats all. its only got 200W power supply just thinking if i added 4 drives couple of usb devices, two sticks of ram and a new card it wouldnt boot.

Can these play HD 1080p ok? with no stuttering or is that more a CPU issue?
Being an AMD processor is it best to get ATI cards

200w is more than enough even on full load for 4 drives + bus powered graphics card.

I don't have any personal experience of that card in my microserver but I know there's a few people that do. Put your queries into the following HP Microserver dedicated thread...

It makes no difference regardless of brand you go for. Putting in an ATI card does NOT make that graphics card perform better than if you was to put that same card in the equivalent Intel based system.
