Actually when i first saw this, I wondered if it could help my slightly arthritic, heavily damaged from Multiple sclerosis father get around more easily, and I'm pretty sure it could.
Servo-assisted legs, specifically the knee joints would be a great boon to him. If anyone has any suggestions on such equipment/support I'd love to see it.

Looks like it helps to turn soldiers into porkers looking at picture 7, 10 and 11 :p

For military use why not improve current body armour and integrate some kind of full torso steel plating, or anything more effective than current kevlar/ceramic plates... a proper exo-skeleton ala Stalker. Add a few heavy weapons and then tada... time to open up a can of whoop-ass.

Then try an move around swiftly and around tight and confined spaces?

Obviously you have never worked with Steel before:p

Price. Sadly the life of the average soldier isn't worth what that'd cost :(

Yeah, well, I was going for an extreme suggestion there. I forgot to say that it should also have a couple of M777 howitzers attached to the arms for some extra firepower, but with sawn off barrels so that they will work in CQB situations.

Throw in a pinch of salt and hold back the realism plz. :p
