March in London on the 26th?

Why aren't the police getting those monkeys off the balcony? Is there a genuine reason, as there are plenty of police there?

Peaceful protests don't make very good headlines - especially if you're a Tory.

Although fair play to the majority of government ministers interviewed today - they are making it quite clear these anarchists have nothing to do with he TUC march.

Paramedics are heroes and deserve far more than they get.

There should be a protest over that, it would make more sense and be far more worthwhile.

I couldn't care less anymore. The cuts are happening and the only way to cope is to adjust accordingly and keep personal finances under control. A lot of people, including me, will have to downsize. O already have by moving back in with my parents. Have a job and save most of the cash. Far cry from last year when I shared a place with friends and went out a lot.

Adapt and you'll survive.

What's that got to do with what I asked? Have you seen the protesters on that balcony vandalising it? I would be very uneasy being below them as well, potentially having them throw stuff (like fire extinguishers ) at me.

Just watching Sky News, Libya TV has shown the footage of the cuts march with the slant that hundreds of thousands of people marching in outrage at the bombing of Libya lol.

You didn't get what I meant.

If you remove the protesters from the balcony, then they wont be able to throw a fire extinguisher, then the Daily Mail wont be able to print a photo of that on the front page and Tory ministers wont be able to pass the protest off as a minority issue that was instigated by a bunch of louts.

Ah I see, went over my head. I expect there will be an element of that, just like the protesters provoking the police to get a reaction just so they can post the video on youtube.

Is that Fortnum's they're outside now?

See its all about the being jealous unwashed **** whit *****, get a job and buy something from the store instead of trying to smash it.

My Christmas hamper will never be the same after this lot, im disgusted.

What we need to do here is get a bit medieval on them.

A number of things I agree with and a number I dont raising the state pension age is fine by me, I also dont mind paying more into my pension, whats wrong is looking to move my work pension to the state pension age, as as announced at the budget this could be a rolling age now I could end up having to work until I am 70 onwards which is crazy. The state pension move from 65 to 68 for me and my wife has already seen 30k wiped from us in the future.

I have staff working for me now earning good money (20k+), getting the state pension and a free bus pass (when they own cars), plus heating allowance which is just wrong.

I actually said to my Dad last night if I am forced to work until I am 70 to get my pensions, my family would actually be better off if I died between 65-70, what a great world we live in.

They have run a lot of retirement courses at work and the information coming out of it was that those retiring now will never of had it so good.
