So tomorrow myself and some chums will be venturing down to Manchester for a good ol' drinking session.

Where are the best places to go? No rock or indie crap though.

Start off in deansgate... go to all the best bars there. Get hammered and go in Baarbaars on deansgate. Then make your way to Tiger Tiger if you want to get involved in some hen party carnage.

Happened to me about a month ago.. never went to Tiger Tiger previously, but we (me and few mates) hadn't even got drinks yet and we were literally mobbed by some hungry pack of hen party clunge. Definitely going back some time as you can imagine.

Buy several bottles of buckfast. Find the nearest street corner. Consume Buckfast. When buckfast runs out buy more. Return to street corner. Consume Buckfast.

Repeat until unconcious/arrested/dead.

Tiger Tiger sounds fun :p

My mate mentioned Printworks but will make sure to check out Deansgate too. Cheers :)

Yeh forgot to mention TigerTiger is in Printworks building sort of.

1. Go to nice pub in centre and get merry.. loads of nice pubs in Manchester
2. Stumble down to Deansgate and get a pitcher and/or bottle of wine each (mandatory)
3. Crawl to TigerTiger... and bring your wellies ;)

PS hope you do actually have good night and I'm not overselling it!

Is Tiger Tiger actually a decent place then or is it full of people who are up themselves?

Don't like places like that.

Edit: Saying that, I am taking a big wad of cash with me so I won't mind the more expensive bars. Haven't been out in ages and my night out fund has just been growing :p

Not really, because they're all 15, if the weather stays nice it's worth finding somewhere you can sit outside. The square outside Sinclairs will be absolutely rammed, there are a lot of options around though, during the day I mean obv.

tiger tiger is ok, pure is a meatmarket that i enjoyed when I was 17. MUCH prefer the northern quarter or at least to start off there, much classier but there are no real club clubs.

Deansgate locks is a little better than printworks, the revs there is fairly big but again is erring towards the chav side.

If there's a big group of you mostly in blue shirts you just almost came in my pub and went next door to the mitre
