From the tiny bit of info I could get from my Dad (it's his car) he says he was on the way home and it sounded like something snapped, he can't engage any gears but the cars left still trapped in first so he limped home at 10mph, which must have been hilarious 
He's been told it sounds like the thrust bearing? he's basically only keeping the car for a few more months so he wants it fixed el' cheapo ready to chop it in.
From my limited eBay skills I can see the part is supplied with most of what I think is the clutch, and is pretty pricey, how much is he looking at for a fix? just a ballpark figure really is all we're looking for. It's a 99plate 206, 1.4L I think.
Any info/tips appreciated!
