Im glad you didnt link to the psu, i probably would have bought it !!..on with the fun. Im off the idea of the reserator kit, i still want to cool passively but i will just end up swapping out lots of bits and peices overtime so i might as well do it bespoke from the start, been reading up about mixing alloys, is this really a major issue ? i see there are coolants that impede corrosion but then people argue that pure distilled water is better, so if i spend on all copper blocks is the rad going to be copper inside..am i wasting money buying copper,a bit like an audiophile would buy a £700 phono cable because it is gold.
This is the cabinet my case is in, as you can see i have plenty of room around it to put a nice rad, i could if i wanted to, remove the shelf and put in a standard tower case (my case is the top left unit) but i like the rackmount it looks less obtrusive when the flaps up but it means pulling out the cabinet to remove it so i would need to be able to isolate the rad...
please recommend a rad, pump, fixings, tubing and blocks for the geforce 9600GT (full block?) and i7 SB cpu..i assume the rad will be the revoir as well ? £250 is not to much of a problem to spend..if i find this doesnt cool as expected i will just add to it.
