I recently installed a new g-card from a GTS 250 to an XDX Radeon HD 5850. About 3weeks ago.
I am running 2 montiors: Samsung SynMaster at 1680x1050 and a DELL 1920N at 1366 x 768.
Since I got the new graphics card I have not played a different game on my PC. I usually play Bad Company 2.
When I first had the new GPU the monitor that was classed by the ATI software as monitor [2] kept flickering when there was activity on monitor [1]. I run auto tune and that kept my GPU speeds at a fixed speed unless a game was run and that fixed the flickering, it still flickers but very rarely.
Recently when I click to load a game it takes 5 minutes to actually start up, and when this problem occurs its with every game and I noticed it's only when the GPU is playing up and apparently at 99% activity, even when idle.
Do I have a faulty GPU or faulty drivers?
PS. I have come here first instead of going straight to XFX because someone can solve it for me then it will save a hell of a lot of time with getting a replacement or something.
