This one's a '91 - I don't know when the throwing stars became standard but I'm guessing it was about '92 going on the pictures.
DM, this one doesn't have the EDC suspension but it does have the self-levelling hydraulics at the rear

They can be, indeed - but it depends on how you do it and where you source the bits from
The SLS self-levelling at the rear, for example, can cost about £250 a side to refurbish - which isn't too bad every 80,000 or so miles - but you can 'delete' it and replace it with a conventional setup for about £250-500 a corner depending on what you go for

Reading it again it's the dampers which are expensive (£10K+ for a suspension refresh all around expensive), but only on the larger engined cars, so you are spared that

Aye, again it's just a case of where you go. You can get the EDC dampers rebuilt for £245 a corner for the fronts, £205 for the rears - but some people just either don't bother to look around, or don't know where to look

Considering average ownership is under a year and he's obviously got no tie downs its not that ballsy, however I am still jealous of all these cars he has owned..

I'm basing this on the two on PH, one at 3.7k and one at 2.6k. Apologies if yours was significantly more expensive Lashout
