Was in halfords the other day buying a new stereo, Whilst walking round the store as i do lol. I noticed some pressure washers. Now they had halfords own brands which i presume are maybe not so good (correct me if Im wrong) But they have some Karcher ones too, slightly more expensive but not over £80 ish
Has anyone ever used one of these? Dont really wanna spend money on one if its not very good.
So any advice on these would be good.

Thanks

Halfords own brand can be very good.
Their screwdrivers are anyway...

There are Polish people about a mile from me that run a hand car wash business. They blast the car with a pressure washer first to rinse it and it takes everything off. Bird poo, squashed bugs etc, you name it the pressure washer removes the lot before they put the soap on!!

I would check and see if the Halfords runs with a metal pump which is a plus. I've got a Nilfisk c120 atm.

Looking at a Nilfisk C110 3-5 one at the moment, but they all pretty much say universal pump. Not sure what the difference is though.

Yeah I have reserved the C110 at Argos so Im going to be picking it up tomorrow, but just double checking its worth the £70 before i part with my coin.

I've got a Karcher that I picked up whilst it was on megasales for £29, which included the patio cleaner head and 3 other attachments! Flippin' bargain :D

I've got through 3 Karchers in 4 years so I'm not too impressed with the reliability of them.

Broken Halfords pressure washers were always filling up the store room when I worked at Halfords, I didn't get the best opinion of them... I'm not sure if they have improved at all in the past year.

I got my replacement yesterday, a Nilfisk C120. I put it together last night and it feels much sturdier than the Karcher I had previously. It's also a lot lighter and hopefully will last a little longer! Can't comment on the perofrmance yet but the price seemed very reasonable... two year guarantee too!

I've had two Karchers which broke plus one B&Q own brand one which lasted for about 2 washes before it broke.

Bought a Nilfisk last year and it's been great, definitely recommend getting one.

1.) Are screwfix still doing their nilfisk deals? If so, it appears it doesn't appear to apply to steam cleaners :(

2.)What's this megasales site?

Well i picked up mine today got it home, It currently raining so im not going to be using it tonight lol.
