hi guys!

just installed the graphics card and ran the disc that came with it, now when i click crysis 2, it shows the cryengine 3 logo then 'stops working' :S

any ideas? could it be a driver issue? first time ive used ati and the driver install part was a bit confusing compared to my nvidia one

thanks :)

If you havent reinstalled the os since the nvidia card/software was installed the drivers might conflict. Always a good idea to do a fresh install first.

Have you rebooted since the drivers and game were installed?

What one should i be using? I webt through atis site and it gave me a driver but mentioned the catalyst stuff everywhere and not sure if i got the right one!

I had this problem with 11.4 preview drivers, went back to 11.2 reinstalled Crysis 2 and worked fine.
What version is on your driver disc, could be out of date already.

so do you download all them drivers as a pack?

i did install the one at the top of the 'individual drivers' tab earlier!

its win7 64bit, tried as admin just then with no luck :(

i'm using catalyst 1.4 preview on mine and they seem stable, something could be contradicting it in your system possibly. Also have you patched crysis 2? Mine had some graphical fails before the day 0 patch

ok mate will do! does crysis 2 have an activation limit like warhead and crysis 1 did?

If it does then probably 5 or so, and as I recall crysis 1 didn't have an activation limit, I have installed it about 100+ times (no really) on my machines using the same key after various formatting and hardware upgrades...
