Shower Vs Bath

If it's a flat a shower is fine but for a house I'd say shower and bath (and I'm not even that bothered about baths).
I prefer showers but a bath is nice to have, though I would replace it because of the skankiness of using some strangers bath.

Much easier to wash a dog when it isn't running around the bathroom though.
So you'd change a bath because a stranger used it but you're happy to use it after a dog? Weird.... each to their own :p

I got rid of my bath and replaced it with just a shower. Given the bathroom is likely to be a few years old by you sell, I suspect most buyers will be considering a new suite at some point anyway.

Go with what suits you now/makes the best use of space - it's you who'll be using it. Worst case, you spend a couple of hundred/knock a few hundred off having a bath refitted when you sell.

my house only came with a shower, which suits me fine tbh. It might be a problem for some if and when i come to move on, but given a choice of the two its a shower for me everytime.

There was a time when i used to miss having a bath, but those days are long gone
