Who is this twerpy little drittsekk and why is he trying to get up everybody's noses at the moment? It was bad enough listening to his whiny voice in PMQs every Wednesday (always seems to sound like a child that isn't getting their own way, amirite?) but lately he seems to be inescapable.

He was quoted this morning before this AV Referendum campaign as saying the following:

This referendum mustn't be about political parties, it is not about a referendum about Nick Clegg or a referendum on David Cameron, it is about whether you want a new voting system.

Just seen him on BBC News 24 slagging off the Conservatives relentlessly and banging on about them not being progressive, Britain not being a conservative* country and all the rest of it. I thought this wasn't a referendum on political parties? Or is that just because he doesn't have full party backing on his desire for AV?

I know Nick Clegg has a total boner for AV too, but Milliband apparently told him to 'lie low' over the whole thing and not get involved. Seems like somebody has a bad case of unwarranted self importance too me, can somebody give him a clip round the ear for me?

* conservative, or Conservative? Seems to me that the UK is both.

I hope he retains the party leadership for as long as possible - should keep Labour unelectable.

I find him quite amusing - especially when he bangs on about the government not knowing how to sort out the economy.

And whose party was it that caused the mess, Ed? ;)

The thing that scares me is that the general public (certainly a sizable minority) blame the current Government for the mess the country is in, and will therefore vote Labour at every opportunity!

Not in a literal sense, no. More like who does he think he is. Seems to be under the illusion that he is some great leader that everybody needs to listen to.

Well by putting him in place that's effectively what his party have said...

Some accountability from him on his party would be nice...... hopefully before judgment day.

Unfortunately people have short memories and will vote for them again, even if half the cronies are still the same party as before.
