"The rates in the table below are only payable for a vehicle's first tax disc taken out at first registration. All other tax discs will be charged according to the standard rate tables shown above."

So £1000 for first tax disc then £460 thereafter

Still a crazy ammount!

The manual equivalent is in a higher tax band (F) :confused:

Because DSG will have a special software program that optimises shifts for when it's being used for an EU Combined cycle test

If I buy my car tax tomorrow or thursday then I still pay last years rate right? Even if the tax disc starts on 1st april?

Both my cars tax are due on Friday.

Car and Van are both ancient and so the old tax system which it seems has gone up by ~£10 iirc, not the end of the world (not that either are due anytime soon)
