PICTURES of the SY 911 C2S!!!

Think I saw you the other day - Friday evening heading south on the M6 between J15 and J14. Can't be that many bright yellow 911's about. ;)

An awesome looking car.
You need to find a better spot to photograph it though; the 'Considerate Constructors' banners don't really add anything ;). Photoshop the power lines and barb wire out as well.

Looks fantastic, well done.

It's probably just the angle of the photographs, but is the black screw cap on the front numberplate slightly offset from the 'B' on the plate? I know that's really nitpicking, but it would annoy me if it is!

looks stunning car for the dosh, don't like the spoiler though (kinda melted look), also not sure I could drive a bright yellow car.... not that it matters what others think, just don't like yellow.

what sort of tuning options are available on these ?, simple remaps ?

bugger all really apart from a sports exhaust

sure you can wangle a few more horses by fettling but it costs sooooooo much money its just not worth it, I have never felt the need to go faster only had my arse handed to me by an fq430 and a 599 - funny story, pulled up next to me at a french toll booth (peage) looked at me, revved wildly, then put on a crash helmet!!! and made me look like I was in reverse.

imo you don't really tune porsches

I found the K&N induction kit on my 996 made revving 'feel' a little more free, and sounded quite mean when coupled with the electronic sports exhaust i had fitted at an OPC.

When i first bought the car, i was very close to selling it within the first 2 months since i was gutted that my life's dream car sounded like a washing machine spinning up when i was giving it some. Quite frustrating really, but no doubt kowtowing to their target market of men in their 50's ;)

After the exhaust sounded like it should have, I was over the moon. Had loads of positive comments from people about just how MEAN it sounded. Oh yes :)

I had a ride in this last week & the overall experience is very good. It has the best interior of any of his previous cars and the seating position is perfect.

IMO the feel of power and pure grip levels of the handling are not quite as impressive as the EVO but it's far less idiot proof and hence more exciting and involved.

don't get me started on practicality :p

It's a lovely car but I give it nine months at most before he is looking for something with more power. ;)

I think the problem with Gibbo is that they don't make the car that he really wants...a new version M3 CSL :p
