not this crap again, why does one of these threads pop up on a daily basis!? firstly -1 Kudos for the OP for using the word 'Wonga', seriously?!
Crysis II is NOT A PORT! for the love of Jesus it was designed from the beginning to be cross-platform, nothing more, nothing less. as far as I am aware the only 'team' outside of the Crytek whole that worked on anything was Crytek Nottingham, which did the multiplayer (used to be Free Radical Games) and other than that they worked as a whole, unless anyone can provide any evidence to the contrary of course, willing to give anything a read.
the only reason X amount of people are complaining about Crysis II is because it doesn't come with native DX11 support, which for some reason is the biggest deal in the history of deals...!? the PC version looks superb, massively superior to the console versions (even though its the exact same engine...EXACT!) and it runs faster than the console versions as well. there is nothing wrong with the visuals to be honest, the lighting is as ever from Crytek brilliant. also the gameplay isn't really 'dumbed down', I think thats a harsh way to put it, since Crytek said the gameplay is 'streamlined' to allow more seemless use of the nanosuit functions on the move, which it does brilliantly, feels much less 'clunky' than the old system.
