Hi All,

Does anyone have experience with this board?

I have just put together a new HTPC with the following spec:
Antec Fusion Remote
Asus E35M1-M PRO ZACATE
4GB Corsair Ram 1066

Initially I tried to play a 1080p mkv file (circa 10gb) and it was very jerky with both MPC and VLC. I turned on the acceleration for VLC and it has made it much better but it doesn't seem 100% smooth and the CPU Utilization is around the 80% mark.

Does anyone know if this is the norm? After reading the reviews it seems to imply the Hudson should play 1080p content flawlessly.

Thanks

Em no I havent, I have just used the drivers from the CD!
I'll give it a go this evening, abit strange that the CD drivers dont utilize the GPU....

Right, I'll say what I've said in a few other threads on the matter.

At this moment in time there is only one piece of software that can support 1080p playback with the Hudson boards - the rset need to be optimized/updated.

If I can find the last issue of CustomPC I'll even tell you what that one piece of software is :)

Really? Argh that is annoying, from what i have been reading i thought it would play easily! If you could let me know that would be great!

I also seem to be having slight audio delay on the TV, would this be due to CPU utilization or something else altogether?
