Hazro HZ27WC or Dell Alienware AW2310

Hi guys,

Could I have a vote/thoughts on the two monitors above. I know the Hazro has JUST come out but I've been thinking of an upgrade from my Sammy P2250.

I mostly play FPS games so I was thinking 120Hz all the way but the Hazro is 2560x1440, IPS Panel will look CRISP AS HELL and 27" for £420.

I play old skool TeamFortressClassic (very fast FPS game like QuakeLive) L4D but also like the eyecandy games such as BC2, Crysis Series et cetera...

What would you go for?

I'd vote for the Hazro.

For about the same price of the Alienware you get a much bigger, higher resolution, higher quality screen in the Hazro. 120Hz is nice, but imho the benefits of the hazro outweigh this.

Personally, I'd go for the hazro.

120hz is still a bit gimmicky for me, and the alienware panels I've seen reviews of have all been overpriced pieces of poop.

the AW optX 2310 is a nice monitor , especially for 120hz and 3D, but i thought 3D wise i could have done with a bigger monitor,

so this time round i was going 27" and looking at dell u2711 till i say the HAZRO, but then samsung are bring out a range of 120HZ 3D mons, one being the SA950 soon, but no release date as yet,

so for me its either wait or like your thinking def going for the hazro

I said I owned the aw2310, all the 120hz monitors had there pros n cons in the end I just felt the alienware was better and I was not wrong ! But as you say price wise maybe not

I hadvto buy again it would still be the alienware !!

I dont see the need for 120hz unless you plan to use 3d, or are such a 'pro gamer' you feel that extra 60hz will make all the difference.
