Bank teller implied I was a coke dealer

If your online persona is anything like yourself in real life then your body language probably gave off the impression that you were a bit of a **** and being a **** with bundles of cash could have implied you were a coke-head.

Almost sig-worthy. But I've heard worse here.

yeah it's just the action you do with cards when talking/waiting for something.

It was very, very clear what he was doing. God, you do live in your own world sometimes.

I dunno all i hear is your side of the story and it's going to be very bias, tapping/shuffling a card is a pretty common action.

but yeah whatever maybe the guy thinks your coke dealer or some other crap maybe he tried to make a joke about the money but you don't have a sense of humour and took it seriously.

Honestly it's not really an issue either way is it?

Ummm, anyone thought that maybe he saw the 'roll' of money, a person looking like they would casually walk around with a roll of money and put the 2 together and come to the conclusion that they might be a drug dealer.

If you was, you could have said "yea man, you need to score?". To which he would have simply shut his booth and taken the money to his manager under the belief it was drug money...

So in other words, it's possible he was doing his job?

He was looking for a new dealer.

You know his name and you know where he works, you can just go and talk to him yourself any time you choose to straighten this out.

Us Coke users have to stick together. :D One time I was sick & at the store I tried getting some medicine. Over the counter, so no script needed, anyway the guy at the Pharmacy counter wouldn't let me buy it cause he thought I was going to make meth with 1 bottle of cold medicine.

I don't see why this is really an issue unless you are actually a coke dealer or have been mistaken for one in a similar way before. And no I'm not implying that you are a coke dealer (thought I would add this because it was clearly a sensitive incident)

Why doesn't he go into the bank make a fuss and get them to watch the security tapes back, don't you think the branch manager will been keen to hear of such behaviour.

Which bank and branch was it?

Surprised at the replies so far. People are more concerned with being funny than giving a serious reply. Wouldn't anyone find this slightly insulting if it happened to you?

No I'd go back and sell him a baggy of baking soda tbh. :D

I wouldn't really like.....More like I'd consider it, and chuckle to myself, on my drive home, about the easy money I could have had if I sold fake goods to a bank teller looking to score.

Close enough. :(

I wouldn't be concerned, more than anything I would just think he has run out of his stash/contact and was hoping. I'm betting any 20~something year old who was depositing a wad of cash today got the same treatment.

Very bold of him thought lol...
