I cant find these new but a local indie shop has one for £50.
Just wondering if it worth it or are these things liable to fail? I remember reading somewhere about the force feedback wearing out over time for example.
As long as you get some warranty with it, then go for it..
The MS wheel is the best cheap option by a country mile for the 360..
My first MS Wheel, I modded a bit (glued the rotation sensor, beefed up the end stops, properly centered it) and I loved it... It lasted 3+ years with ease and I was doing quite a few comps with it..
It died at the hands of some drunk mates, but it lasted well enough..
It's kind of like a plug you'd get with a router the big fat ones but it's quite light, I dunno what to suggest I'd try and get hold of an official one to be honest.
Argos used to sell big power brick multi-adapter transformer things with lots of different heads and a dial to set the voltage. If the wheel has the voltage on it, then you might be in luck if you can find one of those, though equally the cost may render it non-bargainacious.
I have a wheel for sale in the FS forum, comes with all the gubbins, no warranty & collect only though I'm afraid (just cba'd to box and post it tbh) but hardly used.
Yep I noticed, but Im up in glasgow. I would rather buy from the forum as well, im keeping an eye on the thread incase you change your mind, but I dont blame you it seems like the lazy option I would do as well lol!
