Had my titan fenrir on for just under a month now and the AS5 thermal paste should've passed its burn in date now so decided to bring up realtemp and see my idle temps.

Here they are!

Either i'm mistaken or they are incredibly good idle temps correct?

gunna run p95 for 5 minutes and see what I get :)

Hey mate,

Not sure what cpu it is but they are ok. My 2600k idled at around 20 degrees, and my i5 760 idles at around 23-24. Eitherway, not too bad

Nice temps. Idle temps are more influenced by ambient temperatures - must be cold in your room mate ;)

Big wow!

I get 29'c on my Phenom II under stock :p Load it hits 59'c so I'm not impressed really!

(Ambient room temp is ~22'c)

I have the same cooler and running at 100 x 44 , 4.4 ghz and 2 hours prime blend i hit 64c . thats with 1.23 volts. My idle temps are 32-34, so nowere near yours at idle . But i only reaseated my cooler last night with AS5,so time for some improvement .

On a side not i noticed you have used base clock in your overclock. I thought that was a NoNo with sandybridge ???

Right thats it . I'm putting mine in the freezer.

You will be surprised how many people think this is a effective solution to the RRoD and have actually done this! Quite disturbing how stupid some console gamers can be. I suppose it is a fantastic demonstration of condensation and electrical shorts which will give them the education they need not to do it again...

Exactly.

You have 32nm cpu running an top-end aftermarket cooler.

I have a rather hot running 45nm cpu running on stock cooling and stock paste.

Define fairly hot....

But still not impressed in the slightest tbh.

I Idle at about 31c @ 23c ambient and 63c on load on IBT but only 52c on prime95 and that's an i5 2500k at 4.6ghz @ 1.3v. But I noticed when folding etc that the ambient temp doesn't make as big a difference as the interior case temp. For eg if I fold using only cpu @ 100% I get max 51c if I use cpu and gpu (gtx 480) my case temp goes up by almost 15c and cpu goes up about 7c. So ambient is a factor yes but not as much as interior case temps imo.

something odd about the op screeny, not sure but ive never ever had any multicore cpu show the same temps on each core and ive had about a dozen+ multicore cpus

some how i smell a rat here, everything in the OP screeny is the same on each core everyone elses screenshots show different times, temps etc etc by core

ah ok

i relooked at teh OP an it is slightly different but still ive never ever had a 4 core cpu read exactly the same temps, it must be a golden sample :D shame my Megahalems isnt as good as a Titan lol
