I'm having issues with Clockwork mod
fastboot method
Unplug the USB cable, turn off your device and take out the battery
Replace the battery and turn the device on holding the 'volume up' key. The device will stay at the 'green android' screen.
Plug the device into the PC.
From a command prompt run 'fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-blade-2.5.1.8.img'
When this finishes, from the command prompt run 'fastboot reboot'
When I turn the phone on and hold the up button, it doesn't stay on the Android screen, the phone just boots up as normal.
Any advice?
I guess you chose the wrong option in clockworkThanks for the link pike, installed clockwork fine but I'm having issues installing the actual rom now.
When I come to step 22:
Highlight choose zip from sdcard and press the Home button.
Highlight the zip file you copied to your phone and press the Home button.
The rom doesn't appear in the list, I have copied it directly to the root of the phone but it isn't appearing.
Any ideas?
EDIT - NVM I was being a retard! Doing it again now.
Cheers
Using the new Cyanogen nightly 32 (basically a beer RC3) and it's great for everyday use for me!
Had to apply a fix to cure the wifi from not sleeping when putting the phone into sleep, but now that that is fixed it's great!
Cool. I was using V28 I think for a few days but had a good few crashes, but really like it apart from that!
Also, LP is now cool with 2.3 so might go back to CM again when I get a moment.
Do you guys use the auto brightness setting? I turned mine off and set it to half way, on auto it never seemed to get bright enough.![]()
Yea LP is unbelievably smooth now.
checked modaco this morning and apparently RC4 is in the changelog, so it will be out very soon.
seems a full stable release is just around the corner!
