Which GTX 580?

Hi I'm planning on buying two gtx580s for sli mode, question is which are the best ones to choose from? Ive seen the asus direct cu version. Was looking at that because it looks like it will be the most silent! But would take advice on any others! Thanks

How many slots space do you have between your PCI-E's? The Asus direct CU is a triple slot card, so in most cases people won't have enough space to run them in SLI.

My motherboard is an asus P8P67 deluxe, they look quite spread apart! Il try and have a look now, glad you brought that to my attention

Looks like they would barely fit, but would leave literally no room for any sound cards or anything else.

I wouldn't, if you've read the recent 590 thread you can see they're dying on people constantly, even when they're not overclocked. I have purchased 2 of the Gainward 580's as couldnt wait for the EVGA (which would be my first choice, warranty alone) It is a dual slot card, but I intend WC'ing them anyway.

Not sure if that is a good choice, but it's what I went for!

Did you go for the tripple slot Asus card in the end then?
