Not quite perhaps £600 worth of 590 expenditure but boy am I happy?

You bet.

MSI GTX570 stock 732 and I'm now running 800 1600 2000 and Crysis 2 is stable at 40fps @ 2560x1440 Temps below 70c and boy does it look nice

Forgive me for blowing my own. Just thought I'd share the enthusiasm.

What's yours at?

They are great cards mate, crazy overclockers they are. Clock it a *bit* higher and you'll have GTX580 performance!

Care to define "bit"?

Hey I 'm running this thing in a stock case with 2 120 fans one front one rear and I'm happy bout that. I've absolutley no intention of going down the obsessed route of ultimate cooling. My OCD days are well and truly over having spent the price of a modest house on hifi in the past.

Simple thing is. I love this card. I reckon it's the best bang fer buck out there. I'm from Yorkshire. I like a bargain!

I have this card and I have mixed opinions.

In some games I have an absolutely fantastic time and the card performs well, never goes over the 60oC mark.

However on some games like DA2 and Rift, I'm not too sure about the performance, specially DA2 (I know this is a driver issue atm, but still).

How are you guys overclocking and what settings are you using? Running at 55oC load, so I might aswell and push the card a bit.

I've got Gigabyte GTX-460 1GB overclocked, and peformance in DA2 is poor. I put 270.51 on last night and it's improved, but I can't use Very High as it judders too much.

Thinking of upgrading to MSI GTX 570, will I see much difference?

I'll let you know this tonight since I will try it out, the problem is the game and Nvidia's driver support for DA2, not your card.

any club member want to steer me away from choosing a 6950? I cant decide!

I'd still go for the 6950 as it is. The 570's slight performance advantage isn't worth the extra 40 odd quid, plus it does use quite a lot more juice at load. If you have the PSU, get the Gigabyte GTX480 instead, you get 570 performance and more ram for 40 quid less too!

Great info! What settings? "Very High"?

Can you give some FPS at 1440p for any other modern games?

Hi. 40 fps on Extreme (I think they changed it from Very High or whatever it was with the 1.1 patch -)

I can't really give any more info regarding other games because I haven't had much chance to play games and I've only just got my new monitor but

I did reload Oblivion recently (my favourite game of all time) and with Vsynch on I just can't get below 60 fps. Regardless of how many things happening in battle or whatever area I'm in it stays rock solid at 60 fps. And it looks absolutely stunning. Like a totally different game. Well impressed.

I'm gonna reload Metro at the weekend. Can't wait to see how that looks and runs at 2650.
