Putting together a hot gaming rig. Is it that good?

the previous post about this been some kid is sounding more n more like the truth now... trying to brag with stupidly expensive hardware he probbably doesnt need/ obviously doesnt understand...

Running a X4 955 BE @ 3.6 GHz like a lot of other people here, if I was to upgrade my 5750 Im sure I'd be fine :)

It does sound very much like this all a big "look how awesome my pc is" kinda thread. But when you're "putting together" your pc for the money you're spending, a least build it yourself. If you're gonna do the job properly, do it properly :) Cant be difficult for someone like you who is clearly very smart and bright ;)

As you did in your £1600 "look at the size of my rig.." basket.Onboard sound on a £2k rig?

If you're going for l33t then at least go for it! Chuck in a 980X (6 cores better than 4), triple channel memory (3 better than 2), SLI a couple of 580s (big number = better), at least 2Kw of power (expensive = better).

After having a good session of self-abuse and a little more reading you may see that a £600 system will more than match your needs; or you'll go blind :D
 
Hey SUPERHAPPYRICHM i feel what youre saying and i specced a totally hot gaming rig, it should play crysis 2, from what ive heard, but i cant be sure. I tried to save some $$$ by getting cards on offer and just went with a keyboard and mouse set, but it should do the job for now.

Total was £11,301.26 and thats including postage too!

Why you guys are taking the ****. I just want to put together good rig for next few years to save my self hustle... BTW who says 3 memory are better than 2? anyone got article to back that up?

The reason people are taking the mic is because you talk like a child, act like a child and likely are one to be honest.

As said before these threads pop up constantly from people who don't know jack about pc's and just want to spend a fortune for something they don't need and then they come back a few weeks later having realised how stupid they were being with a more sensible thread.
