Not sure what to make of this to be honest. Would have thought more emphasis on safe sex would be a better idea.

Could be and with Scotland no longer having to pay them maybe we're all trying to make a massive tally of things we can get for free that English can't.

Wonder if I could get some morning after pills myself and flog them over the boarder...

Ummm, if you go to the doctors in England the morning after pill is free, you only have to pay for over the counter without a prescription, but a number of pct's will make it free without a prescription too. Chelmsford for example.

Was going to say, we have had PGD's (patient group directives) for years now. These have allowed girls to get free access to the morning after pill, form their pharmacy if they need it and its safe to do so. Granted its only in areas where the PCT have created a PGD.

It is a good idea although needs to be carefully advertised to avoid people seeing it as another form of contraception...
