My ipod clock/dock just blew up :/

well i tried to see if i could run audio though the USB port on the clock which was named shuffle, so i plugged in an ipod lead and plugged my ipad into the other end, powered everything on, ipad said it was charging, tried playing music, it came though the ipad speakers grrr

then i smelt burning.... it came from the back of the clock, i unplugged everything took the clock outside and came back in to test the ipad, its working fine charging etc.... i expect it must have been too much power though the USB port that is designed to charge the 1st gen shuffle :rolleyes:

I think I might just stay out of GD today. Haven't really found anyones April Fools funny, and the threads that aren't an April Fools joke just automatically make me assume they are.

i might try plugging it back in (the clock) although the area around the USB is still very hot
