Not really as they are classed as garage door openers.
Does the Target LaserTrack meet all legal requirements & can I legally use the system anywhere?
Yes, the Target LaserTrack meets the highest European standards for automotive accessories. Although interference with other equipment such as laser guns cannot be ruled out, the system may be used everywhere for the purpose it was developed. The system may not be used for other purposes than that for which it was developed by the manufacturer.
jammers only work once, they have to recharge after each interrupt (bit like a camera flash) once the unit has discharged they activate a buzzer/beeper giving you a chance to slam on the anchors before the police get a chance to re-arm their fricking lazer beam. The coppers get a misread which isn't out of the ordinary and you get a chance to avoid 3 points.
If they stop you and find your jammer they can arrest you for some offence but to date I've never even had a tug, luckily I have a motorised garage door so can happily demonstrate the units real function....
I have mine mounted just below my numberplate, snooper SLD unit
they work brilliantly against hand held guns and camera vans, which is precisely what any savvy motorist needs protecting from, people getting points from gatso's and specs are on the whole rather dumb (I bet I get a NIP now I've said that!)

Yeah my bad I't seems the technology has improved a lot since I last looked at them in like 2006 at that time detectors were pretty useless as most didn't give you anywhere near enough warning time to get below 70, the range on them seems to have increased dramatically, still though jammers/detectors don't work against newer systems like truvelo and their increasing in number whereas gatso is on the decline.
