April Fuel *groan*

£57? That's cheap!

It costs me almost £80 to fill up!

But that's some cockup right there :p
 
is it just me that doesnt even look at fuel prices? it's not like its optional. its either pay it or don't drive anywhere..?

whats the point of moaning unless you do it properly and go protest?:p

I look at the price, swear, and then brim my tank regardless of what the price is!

I gave up looking at the price and moaning a while ago. It’s just a pointless execise.

Not really?

Between my house and work there are multiple petrol stations, all of them are 133+ ppl, if I go elsewhere (about 1mile further on from my house on the way home from work) then it is sub 130ppl. I buy at the cheaper station as over a tank saving 5ppl works out to save me money (despite the over all detour of 2 miles or so). Especially when I fill the tank up once every week to two weeks.

Look out we've got a new Martin Lewis. It's nowhere near 5 pence saved when you factor in driving the extra mileage.

I've also never seen 5ppl differences within a mile radius.

Extra mileage of two, yes two whole miles...really, over a tank (usually fill up just under 60L) that two miles makes minimal difference to the saving in fuel costs.

You obviously don't live in my area. ;) I also did not state that there is a 5ppl difference in a mile radius did I? I stated that if I go 1mile further on from where I live instead of stopping at one of the more expensive places on the way home.

I'm the same, I know people who only go to certain petrol stations for the cheapest price, I just fill up at the first one I come to
